What is the best type of fitness program for a 14 year old?
My plan is to lose 25 pounds with my current weight is 155 and my size is "5" 4 1 / 2. For days I tried to find an exercise program that works with teenagers like me, but not successful. Do you know of a program that can be used to help you lose weight?
First, your diet should include regular meals (breakfast). In addition, cutting things like soda, coffee, fries, desserts great. Try to get carbohydrates carbon (carbohydrates you need) of fruits, vegetables and whole grains. Protein should be lean meats like chicken, turkey and red meat, except ground beef or chest. Secondly, I would add strength training to your regimen. Your body burns calories for only about 30 minutes after a cardio workout, but your body burns calories 24-48 hours after strength training as your body repairs itself. It there are tons of books where you can find a good strength and conditioning routines. Since you strive to strength, I recommend you do a lot of repetitions slow.
